“There are certain habits and routines that make success easier, regardless of the circumstances you face. In fact, you may already practice some of these habits, even though you are unaware of it right now.” These are the words by James clear about Keystone habits. Illuminating and simple. Once I figured out my keystone habit and stuck to it, in very simple ways it has changed my life and has continued to do so. I am better person and have improved my relationships with people around me and myself. I understand myself well and have an idea of what to inculcate in my life (and continue to work on them) and what not to. In conclusion, my over view on life has changed for better. My keystone habit gives much needed everyday push to not to slack off and start working in other areas of my life.
Dear Reader, according to me this is how a key stone habit could be defined: It is the one thing you do with zero or minimum willpower which results in you having a good day and making your life better. Did I convince you to find yours? Follow these ideas:
- I have an opinion that there is a keystone stone habit which is embedded in us since childhood. Which is one of many habits that parents wanted us to learn.
- Find one area in your life that you would like to see improvement (health / work / relationships) and start small. Do not fret if it did not work out, take a deep breath and try doing this again.
And when you find yours (or may be you already have one) work on it continuously and I assure you will have positive effects on your overall life. Here is a list of few keystone habits to give you an idea:
